Do I need a car to get around Tamarindo?You can easily get into Tamarindo without a car. However, if you plan on venturing out to explore the beautiful surroundings of Guanacaste or need to make extended grocery trips, renting a car may be a good option. You can arrange to rent a car at Liberia International Airport or in downtown Tamarindo. Most roads are paved or at least graded, so four-wheel drive is not necessary. Taxis and private shuttles are available if you do not want to rent a car.

Who do we call if there’s an issue onsite?In case of personal injury, emergency, or fire, call 911 on your cell phone. If you have any other problems during your stay, you can call your vacation specialist, who will be assigned to you upon booking.

Do I need to clean the rental before I leave?You do not need to clean the rental upon checkout. Just be sure that you have all your belongings with you. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local time.

What does the kitchen have?The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment to cook meals during your stay. Additionally, we provide a basic supply of essential items such as salt and pepper, a range of spices, cooking spray, foil, paper towels, toilet tissue, hand soap, and dish/dishwasher soap.

Is there a BBQ/grill at the house?Yes, we have a gas BBQ, a wood BBQ (gaucho grill), and a wood pizza oven on site and available for use in our outdoor kitchen. Propane and hardwood are supplied.

How do I get to Casa Libelula?For your convenience, return airport shuttle service is included for your party to and from Liberia International Airport to Casa Libelula. Shuttle arrangements can be made with your vacation specialist upon booking.
